I always loved old things and I always loved jewelry. And I always go to garage sales. So a few years ago I just started to buy old costume jewelry and started to go to flea markets and antique shops. And quite honest Montreal is a great place. But the fun is when you find something beautiful, in good condition and you don’t pay a lot of money for it. So this is how I started to collect vintage costume jewelry.
And then you meet older people who collect and bought over time lots of jewelry. I know a few ladies around this city and I love them. They collect now for years these beautiful vintage costume jewelry and I just can’t get over how passionate they are about it. From some of them I buy and to some of them I supply.
I will share with you my collection and some of the research and readings I have done about costume jewelry. I hope the collection and your interest will grow over time.
